What types of jazz & blues?We try to cater for most tastes from jazz standards, jazz funk, ballads, bossa nova and lyrical jazz. The blues ranges from Chicago, Texas to 1920/30's Classic female.

What time do doors open?Doors will open at 12:00pm, with the first band starting at 12:45pm.

Where can I park?The college has ample free parking, if however it becomes full there is parking close by at the Festival Hall.

When does it end and when do the gates close?The last band finishes at 10:00pm and the college gates will close at 10:30pm.

Can I get a refund?No. Sorry, but tickets are non-refundable once purchased.

What if it rains?We don't trust the UK weather and so the event is held under two large marquees to protect you from the rain, or hopefully sunshine.

Can I bring alcohol?No. There will be a large bar offering a wide choice of drinks at very reasonable prices. We reserve the right to search bags on entry to the event.

Can I bring a picnic?Yes. We welcome picnics, it's part of the Summer festival fun (but no alcohol please!). However, we will have excellent food vendors on site where you'll be able to supplement you picnic with hot food or get your evening meal.

What if it gets cold?Prepare yourself for a usual June evening, it can get chilly, so coats are recommended. We will be providing as many rugs as we can, but best if you bring your own. We will also put the marquee sides down, to save the warmth.

Can I bring my dog?Unfortunately, no. We love dogs and dogs love jazz, but unfortunately dogs are not allowed in the college grounds.

What can I sit on?Please bring your own camping chair and/or rug. There will be 100 chairs at the event, but we can't guarantee you'll get one, so best bring your own.
